Ball Pictures

Our First Annual Alabama Southern Heritage Ball was a success.

We had over 90 Southern Gentlemen and Ladies in attendance.

We had over 90 Southern Gentlemen and Ladies in attendance.

Mr. Stephen Boyd, the gentleman with the Banjo, gave a presentation on
Southern music of the period.
Yes, he played Dixie for us. Twice.

Mr. Daniel Ferrill, Mr. Micah Ferrill along with their families did
an excellent job teaching us all how to dance.

This was a family friendly event!
The great thing about our friends is that they love doing things as families!

They are not embarrassed to dance with their brother or sister.
Big ones danced with little ones!(You should have seen Josh swing Avalee around...it was so cute!)

This was so adorable...they just sat there and played as everyone kept dancing!
The moms were the real Belles!
Of course, there was constant adjusting of skirts and hoops!

Trish took family pictures for everyone!

You can't have enough drinks...or cups!
Hint: When hosting a ball, buy four times as many cups than you think you'll need! ;o)

A good Confederate must be willing to defend his homeland!

The evening weather was beautiful for a refreshing bit of air outside by the lake.
